Welcome to Grandfather Vic’s Clock Company. Our family business has been producing superbly crafted solid timber grandfather clocks since the late eighties. First importing kits from the USA, later producing our own styles locally, made from Australian timbers like Australian Red Cedar and Pacific Mahogany.

The kits are supplied as machined components and sanded ready for assembly and finishing. The kit accessories include all the necessary Polished Brass Hardware. Only the glass is not supplied. Kits can also be assembled and finished as a completed clock for you upon inquiry.

The quality German Hermle movement is made in Reichenbach in the Black Forrest, the oldest surviving clock movement factory in Germany. These movements are traditionally weight driven of which we suggest a cable wind variety. The dials and pendulums are polished brass finish as standard, however other finishes or embossing’s, are available upon request.

All our Hermle movements are guaranteed against production defect for 2 years from point of sale for your peace of mind.
